Bytran Utility Mobile Platform (BUMP)

Bytran Utility Mobile Platform (BUMP) is a multi-purpose ultra compact dually mobile platform under development which may be used for field application of various scientific measurement equipment including LIDAR.  The BUMP is based on a combination of Permobil C500 power wheelchair base and a Rollx Vans handicapped-accessible 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan as utility vehicles.

One of the BUMP uses being sought is for the studies of Adverse Residential Signatures (ADRES).

Some more information about the BUMP may be found in a recent submission (PNG print screen) to the 2023 SPIE Remote Sensing which was declined due to the content of the manuscript.

This page will be updated with more information as this project is developed.
